Episode #7 - Spotted - This Week in Healthcare

It's time for the healthcare weekly round-up 📢📢

📌 Welcome to Edition #7 of "Spotted! - This Week in Healthcare", and I'm your host: Vivek Nanda.

Each week I share the interesting things that I spotted in the world of healthcare.

And, here we go...

Edition #7

--------

A new AI tool trained on nearly 500,000 tissue images can accurately diagnose cases for the most common form of lung cancer, and predict their severity with high accuracy.

Next up - meet RiskAverse.

88% of Americans don't feel informed enough to make decisions about their care, despite 80% wanting more control.

This issue has led to only 8% being up-to-date on recommended health services. Clearly, the current strategies for patient enrollment for the right care plans are not working.

RiskAverse consistently drives 7x patient activation compared to industry standards by combining outreach and clinical enrollment into a unified, digital experience.

That means meeting them where they are, intimately understanding their individual needs, informing them about their options, and empowering them to take meaningful action.

Last but not the least is - Untether Labs

Patient scheduling is a complex topic, and when clinics provide virtual care through various modalities like video calls, phone calls, text messaging, and at-home consultations, it gets really very very complex!

These clinics face challenges in efficiently scheduling their providers across different specialties, regions, insurance regulations, and fluctuating patient demand.

This results in providers spending less than 50% of their workday seeing patients, despite high patient demand.

Untether Labs aims to solve these problems through its innovative SaaS platform that provides AI-powered scheduling optimization, reporting, forecasting, and capacity management solutions tailored for digital health clinics.

Their goal is to help clinics enhance margins, optimize doctor-patient interactions, and improve access to care!

A true Win-Win for everyone!

Go check them out.

And that's a wrap!

Tune in next week for more buzz from the health-tech world.

Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
