If you know me, you know that one topic that I am absolutely passionate about is - Healthcare Workforce Shortage.

And with all my experience in the home care world, I have questioned the band-aid approach to solving this problem.

Dr. Jason Pradarelli, MD, MS wrote an insightful post on this topic for American College of Healthcare Executives and shared a few ideas that are worth reviewing.

There is this amazing data visual that went viral on LinkedIn this week,

it was shared by James Eagle. Based on his profile, James is based out of Switzerland.

And it showed that the US spent a staggering $11,031.29 per capita on healthcare in 2021 (which is the latest data I have).

That’s over DOUBLE the average for most wealthy nations.

The US healthcare costs have risen from just 5 per cent of GDP in 1962 to 17 per cent in 2022.

There are very few doctors who have cracked the code of content marketing.

And this physician from New York has done an excellent job putting his authentic self out every single day through his podcast and built a massive social media following.

His name is Dr. Adarsh Vijay Mudgil,. He is a dermatologist and runs his own private practice in New York.

So, when I stumbled upon this mental health care startup, I got really excited.

Meet Mavida Health.

Mavida is on a mission to support mental health of every mother from preconception to postpartum.
